Overall, I would say that Building Construction and Materials was quite an engaging module, and it definitely taught me technical skills and lessons that I will be carrying forward throughout my architectural journey. Firstly, it helped me learn the conventional and standard applications of various materials in construction in greater depth, along with diversifying my scope on the different types of techniques and joineries used in day-to-day construction. Along with that, it also improved my group communication skills and helped me further refine my drafting skills in addition to expanding my knowledge of drawing symbols. With that in mind, I think I should've been more open to refining on and improving my construction detailing in our last project.
